Ah. The bass player. So many jokes (but not as many as there are about viola players). Metal and rock/hard rock often get bunched together, so inevitably John Paul Jones and Geddy Lee get the nod, leaving out some very talented unsung players in the metal genre.
Without looking at the list, Cliff Burton was the player I came up with after the guy from Iron Maiden, who I remember from my metal days in high school. Oh! Steve Harris (I just looked). But Burton gets the nod because of his bass solo (which at the time I never knew you could do ), Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth).LikeLike
