Marmozets Sign New Record Deal with Nettwork Music Group – Breaking News

Exciting Announcement

Marmozets has inked a fresh record deal with Nettwork Music Group. This is thrilling news for fans like me, especially after a six-year gap since their last album “Knowing What You Know Now.” The band has been pretty much silent in the media since then, so this announcement is huge!

The extended break between new music was due to Becca MacIntyre (vocals) and Jack Bottomley (guitar) having a child together in 2019 and getting married in 2022 (congrats!).

Hailing from West Yorkshire, the group came together in 2007 and released their debut album “The Weird And Wonderful Marmozets” in 2014 under Roadrunner Records. They’ve performed at major events like Download Festival, Reading & Leeds, and have even shared the same stage as heavyweights like Muse and The Used.

The band signing a fresh record deal hopefully means one thing – a brand new album is on the horizon! Let’s keep our fingers crossed that it’s already in the final stages. The band took to Instagram to share the big announcement:

“We just signed a new record deal with @nettworkmusic see you all soon”

Personal Experience

Personally I cherish the memory of meeting the band at the Download Festival signing tent and realizing that they are some of the nicest people in the business! You could clearly tell that they genuinely loved being around each other and interacting with fans.

If you want to attend live music events you can do so by buying your tickets from Ticketmaster!

Albums Of The Year 2025 – 7 – Spiritbox – Tsunami Sea

The Canadian band Spiritbox has made a significant impact in the rock scene with their second album, blending Metalcore and Djent. Their sound features powerful riffs and emotionally charged lyrics, highlighted by LaPlante’s dynamic vocals. Standout tracks include “Soft Spine” and “Perfect Soul,” showcasing both energy and haunting melodies.

Set The Tone With… Allium!

In the 15th episode of “Set The Tone With…”, the alt rock band Allium from Bristol shares insights into their musical preferences and daily lives. Guitarist Tom discusses songs for various moods, including workout anthems and cooking tunes, while highlighting their own proud releases and favorite local bands.

From The Archives: 60s Vol 5 – The Byrds – Mr. Tambourine Man

The feature “From The Archives” revisits influential albums, focusing on a debut that merged folk and rock in the 1960s. Highlighted for lush harmonies and impactful songwriting, it faces criticism for repetitive chord progressions and numerous Dylan covers. Notable tracks include “Mr. Tambourine Man” and “I’ll Feel A Whole Lot Better.”

[…] Marmozets! How I have missed this band… Carnage, vocal complexity tied up in a wonderful human. I was lucky enough to meet the band at Download Festival many years ago now which is how I know Becca is a Vegan. She was eating food during the meet and greet. After the band have taken some time away I honestly thought they were done. Thankfully they are back and if this song is anything to judge then they mean business! […]
