Background Information
Nashville, Tennessee’s Goodbye June blends southern blues and hard rock into a captivating sound that’s both smooth and thrilling. The band, consisting of Landon Milbourn (Vocals), Brandon Qualkenbush (Rhythm Guitar), and Tyler Baker (Lead Guitar), creates anthemic music that will make you want to grab a Jack Daniels and listen in for the night. The band’s name is a tribute to Tyler’s brother, who passed away in June.
These three rockers have truly made a name for themselves, having appeared in sports ads, two games, and even getting the Rolling Stone seal of approval. Their track “Oh No” was even chosen by WWE as the theme song for WrestleMania 32! With 50 million Spotify streams, it’s clear that their music resonates with many fans, including myself.
What I Enjoy About The Music
The vocals have a way of piercing through the chaos, especially on their mellow tracks where you can truly feel the emotions in the lyrics. It’s clear that their bluesy influence shines through, and I find it quite hypnotic.
But when they decide to crank up the volume, they absolutely nail it! The guitar solos are undeniably remarkable, and as a drum enthusiast, I surprisingly appreciate their minimal presence in most of their songs because I believe adding drums would take away from the overall sound.

Latest Release
In 2024, the band released their 4th album, “Deep In The Trouble”. The album includes the amazing track “The Hard Way” and builds on the band’s previous work in a way that will thrill both long-time fans and newcomers!
It serves as a follow-up to 2022’s “See Where The Night Goes”, and I have a soft spot for “Step Aside”. Based on their current release pattern, I’m betting their 5th album will come out sometime between 2026 and 2027. Let us know which one of the songs included in this article you enjoyed the most!
