Vote for Your Favorite Song | Save A Song Series

This is the fourth instalment of a new mini-series of polls – Save A Song! In this series, you choose your favourite song of the three listed and save it by voting for it and discussing it in the comments section below.

That song is then saved! Whereas the other two unfortunately are the losers and get deleted from existence… Okay, so not really, but you get the picture. Here, you are voting for the song that you would want to still exist!

After a few weeks of these polls, there will be a final poll of all the winners to choose the grand champion song!

Sometimes the poll does not show for everyone so the options are;

  • Iron Maiden – Run To The Hills
  • Metallica – One
  • Living Colour – Cult Of Personality

    I’m gonna go with “One”. It has a special place in my heart.

    My first apartment was a 4-plex and the neighbor below me had a bad habit of blasting bubblegum Top-40 on a crappy stereo starting between 6 and 8 on weekends. Tinny thing: all treble, no bass. I was 18 and liked to stay up until 3 to 6 am.

    Needless to say, the volume and choice of his music offended me.

    So, one night at 3am, I took my much beefier stereo into what would be over his bedroom pointed the speakers at the floor and played this song LOUD and cued up to the part where the heavy rhythm section first starts and hit play.

    There was no more 6am bubblegum pop music after that, needless to say.

    Ahh, memories.

    I’m going with “Run to the Hills”, Iron Maiden. I associate especially good times with that particular song, so the choice is easy 😊

    I’ve decided to go with the Bedlam. The rhythm is quite enjoyable, and after a few pints of beer, I’ll be crazy enough to really appreciate it
