The next instalment in our weekly Spotify Playlist “Song Of The Week” this time we are joined by Electric Enemy with their song “Bleed Me Dry”.
Song Explanation
Bleed me dry was written by Jim Lawton and co-produced with two time Grammy winner Adrian Bushby.
The song is about a toxic relationship where even though the victim knows exactly what is going on, they cannot leave (‘you’re going to bleed me dry with both my hands untied’).
Bleed Me Dry is also a popular song in the game Beatstar, and has become a live favourite for many.
Over the last 12 months Electric Enemy have released two EPs (YOU and THE DARK), all written, recorded and mixed by Jim Lawton at his home studio.
