Song Of The Week – Westing – Artemisia Coming Down

Westing – Artemisia Coming Down (All Rights Are Retained By Westing)

Artemisia is a reference to the name of the meteor from the Book of Revelations (commonly translated as Wormwood). The song links this with man made causes of destruction and sort of envisions human fragility wrestling with the powers natural and cosmic forces.

I like this one a lot. I listened to your clip and had to look the song up to see the year. I was sure it was from the 70s. Surprise, 2023. It had quite the Pink Floyd feel to me. Very nice. I’ll listen to this again.

Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂 I can see why you thought it was earlier than it was , i think that they are heavily influenced from that era
