It has been a great year in the realms of all things rock! What better way to celebrate the brilliant new releases of 2025 by counting down our favourites.
Band Background
I think these might be the only band I know of based in Alaska! If you’re an Alaskan band hit us up! The bands sound is a wonderful blend of psych, indie with pop influences. Their 2017 hit “Feel It Still” might have felt more Wait a minute MR postman to me, but this album is red hot!
What’s Good About This Album
It is hard to believe this is album number 10! I love it because it moves past some of their more pop like influences and into a rockier more harsh area. Along with that is an increased level of psych that has been unfortunately absent in other recent albums as well as a higher tempo.
Favourite Tracks
The hook in this song is damn tasty! The whole song feels expansive and I love the psychedelic feel as well as how light it feels.
This makes me feel like I am in Spain, although I suspect actually that should be Portugal. The acoustic guitar really does it for me. The chorus is fantastic too with the higher vocal range used!
