Albums Of The Year 2025 – 6 – Moon Fever – Forever Sleep

Fox Reviews Rock - Albums Of The Year 2025

It has been a great year in the realms of all things rock! What better way to celebrate the brilliant new releases of 2025 by counting down our favourites.

Band Background

Seattle based Moon Fever are not only friends of the website but also some of the best hard rockers out there! We even did a full review of this album and an interview with the band. It is amazing to think they have only been going for 5 years, especially considering tours with Buckcherry and Godsmack. If you’re a fan of classic rock and hard rock then this is a marriage made in heaven for you.

What’s Good About This Album

For a debut album this is unbelievable! 11 tracks full of heavy riffs, strong hooks and powerful as hell vocals. I like the way the album focuses on resilience and emotional struggle. It gives it depth rather than just merely being surface level rock. Also this album has a really great flow to it, every song feeling like it is in the correct placement. Hard to do!

Favourite Tracks

With its driving rhythm that immediately drags you in and vocals that match the raw feeling of the instrumentation. This song is a sure thing on any rockers playlist.

Moon Fever – Nothing Left To Lose (All Rights Are Retained By Moon Fever)

In my opinion the best song on this album, although streaming numbers would disagree. Let me know if you agree with me or the masses! It features a massive sing a long chorus, while the instruments are balanced out perfectly to give this real rounded feel. Not to mention the emotional depth they go to in the lyrics!

Moon Fever – Feel So Good (All Rights Are Retained By Moon Fever)

Other Albums By This Artist

This is the bands debut album. But they have recently released two killer singles in Decayed and Masses.
