Song Background Information

(Pathogen) is the north track on my recently released debut album ‘The Explicit//The Exploited’. Upon arrival of the album this song quickly cemented itself as a fan favourite and setlist staple, with its bouncy yet bone crushing riffs which immediately wriggle their way into the listeners eardrum.

It takes the isolation of being victimised, and instead of crying in the corner, it laughs through the pain and chokes on the blood, and you can’t help but dance along. It is a song that presents itself as a love letter to the groovy alternative culture of the 90’s and the gritty nail biting atmosphere of industrial metal, but doesn’t lose its modern edge. It soars with guitar effects, slick synths and stadium worthy vocals from the moment you press play.

My debut album was released December 5th and features 10 songs that explore trauma and the darkest corners of the human mind. Featuring singles ‘Neglect//Harass//Silence’, ‘Who Are We’ and ‘(transmit)’ and immediately racking up hundreds of streams across the global landscape of freaks and metalheads, it is an album that barges down the doors of modern metal and presents itself as fearless, naked and ready to devour.
