What is your latest release?

The Flight of the Shadows is a the first album by Paris-based band Prime Juniper, released on May 2, 2025, featuring nine tracks that blend stoner rock with psychedelic and vintage influences. The album opens with powerful riffs and expressive female vocals by Enora, setting a distinctive tone that pushes beyond typical stoner rock conventions.

Throughout the record, the interplay between groovy bass lines and dynamic guitar work creates a hypnotic, immersive soundscape. The band isn’t afraid to experiment: many songs include extended instrumental passages, unusual interludes, and even transverse flute moments that add brightness and depth to the heavier sections.

What are the three songs you would recommend to new listeners?

Empty bottle, because it is our “signature” song, you will find everything that defines our sound in it.

Prime Juniper – Empty Bottle (All Rights Are Retained By Prime Juniper)

Black smoke, because it is our first song and it will make you navigate through many feelings.

Prime Juniper – Black Smoke (All Rights Are Retained By Prime Juniper)

Colour outta space, because it is a two sided track, very high energy on the first part, and very atmospheric on the second part.

Prime Juniper – Color Outta Space (All Rights Are Retained By Prime Juniper)

What is the song you’re most proud of as a band?

Probably Empty bottle, because it was written through difficult times, especially for our singer Enora. This song is about fighting your own demons and making difficult choices.

When can we expect some new music?

A new song has been composed (this time without flute, but with saxophone!), but we have not recorded it yet.

    Prime Juniper Performing Live

Who would be your dream collaboration?

We would love to record with Dave Catching at Rancho de la Luna (you said DREAM collaboration, right? ), because we feel so much connected to the energy of the desert.

Where can people next catch one of your shows?

26/02/2026 W/ Electric Citizen (Montreuil, Paris area)
    07/06/2026 W/ Crimson Effect (Reims)
    30/04/2026 W/ Exquis (Paris)

Where can people grab some merchandise?

    Merch is available here.

What is the bands goal for the next 12 months?
