DLXXIII Just Got Bigger: Download Festival 2026 Adds 14 More Names

Download Festival 2026 Line Up Announcement 2

Download Festival Second Announcement

If you thought the 2026 edition of Download Festival was done flexing, think again; it was just warming up! The biggest rock festival in the UK just announced another 14 acts to grace the Donington Park fields this June! This wave brings some serious firepower…

A Day To Remember added to download festival 2026.

Joining the bill are pop-punk titans A Day To Remember, arena hitmaker Daughtry, gothic-rock band Creeper, and bringers of chaos Hot Milk.

Hot Milk – Breathing Underwater (All Rights Are Retained By Hot Milk)

If that wasn’t enough already, the official band of Final Fantasy XIV, The Primals, are making their first appearance outside Asia!

Masayoshi Soken, The Primals – Endwalker – Footfalls (All Rights Are Retained By Masayoshi Soken & The Primals)

Also landing on the bill: BAND-MAID, Conjurer, Stampin’ Ground, Annisokay, Silly Goose, Frozemode, Private School, and Chilean death metallers Decessus. They just so happen to be fronted by the reigning Miss World Chile, Ignacia Fernandez. A beauty queen showing off death growls? Download Festival is clearly not playing things safe!

Decessus – Dying Hope Blooms (All Rights Are Retained By Decessus)

The one band that truly excites me the most though is Marmozets, returning to the bill for the first time since 2018 having signed with Nettwerk Music Group. The band have just started their comeback tour and have a new album CO.WAR.DICE set to be released May 22nd.

Marmozets – New York (All Rights Are Retained By Marmozets)

Line-Up Recap

This amazing new wave of bands only adds to a line-up that already includes the likes of Linkin Park, Guns N’ Roses & Limp Bizkit. And that is just the headliners! Also performing over the weekend are bands such as Electric Callboy, Scooter, Pendulum, Bad Omens, Halestorm, Trivium, Babymetal, Tom Morello, and so many more! Read all about the previous announcement here.

This year’s line-up is shaping up to be one to remember, especially when you consider the genre diversity on display. It also marks a milestone moment, with Emily Armstrong becoming the first female frontperson to headline the festival.

This is building into something pretty awesome; and there’s still months to go for them to add more! 🙂
