It has been a great year in the realms of all things rock! What better way to celebrate the brilliant new releases of 2025 by counting down our favourites.
Band Background
We interviewed San Francisco based Milk For The Angry after getting a great recommendation from Dingir Zu. Boy are we glad they told us about them. The psych rock band have fuzz infused guitar work balanced with hypnotic melodies. It’s trippy and fantastic.
What’s Good About This Album
It fully embraces the fuzz sound while never loosing site of it’s psych influences. With a balance between melody and grit it makes the listening experience feel full and well rounded.
Favourite Tracks
The lead single from the album and features lots and lots of psych elements. If you closed your eyes and had an erm medicated dream then it would feel like this. The band actually told us exactly what this song was about in our interview I cant do it justice here so check that out…
A light breezy number that showcases the floaty nature of some of the bands songs. This makes me smile every single time I hear it. The guitar work is sublime and chorus should all be as simple as this yet effective.
