For me it means treating people how I myself would want to be treated. If I have treated people poorly then I would understand others doing the same. Giving to charitable causes, tipping where needed and helping people in need. It’s pretty much the blueprint…

Mark 10:17-19
17 As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, you shall not defraud, honor your father and mother.’[d]”
Jesus’ point was to show that no one can keep perfectly the Ten Commandments, and thus, no one is truly good. We have all sinned and fallen short. We can do good deeds, but in the end, we’re still sinners in need of salvation.

I do love this, but I do expect to be treated less than what I treat other people.
It’s all about managing expectations.
