Mica: This week’s Indiestry Amplified Pick is BENT NECK and their second single ‘Draw The Line’ which was released at the end of August.
BENT NECK are a relatively new band from Medway, Kent who formed earlier this year in January and released their debut single ‘CUTPRICE/LOWLIFE’ back in June.
BENT NECK are an extra loud alternative rock band, who make a lot of noise considering they’re only a 2-piece consisting of Dominic (Guitar / Lead Vocals) and Adam (Drums / Vocals)
I was introduced to BENT NECK via my friend and fellow new music podcaster Biggsy when he played their debut on his show during the summer and I loved it immediately.
Their second single ‘Draw The Line’ doesn’t disappoint, it’s raw, urgent and laced with heavy riffs comparable to their noted influences ‘Royal Blood’ and ‘Cleopatrick’ and I’m excited to see where they’re headed, especially if they sound this good when they’re just starting out.
Ricky: It’s a 10/10 from me! Big up the Kent lads!
