        An obvious choice, but it has to be Since You Been Gone. He was only in the band for a couple of years but that was long enough to give us a classic rock track like that one.

      Dio is a personal favourite of mine , the bloke was seriously talented there is a reason he sang in 2 of the biggest bands , and thats likely being harsh to Dio the band too !

    For me, Ronnie James Dio, hands down. I have recently begun to appreciate his abilities even more after watching a reaction series by a vocal coach/opera singer. She does a series called, “The Charismatic Voice”. Her first reaction to Dio was with BS live for “Heaven and Hell” (dated Feb. 12 2021). About 2 years later, now a full-fledged “fan girl”, she introduces a fellow vocal coach/friend to him with a live Rainbow “Stargazer” performance, and another Dio fan is born.
