As always with my Tuesday up-and-coming bands posts , I focus on bands with under 500,000 monthly streams on Spotify, hopefully you discover new music along with me on this journey. I’ll be adding 3 songs from these weekly posts to my own Spotify Playlist.
Background Information
This Seattle band is all about hardcore punk rock! And let me tell you, they absolutely nail it. Coming from the remnants of the band “Rest,” it’s truly impressive that they managed to break into the top 10 with their debut album the following year. In 2021, they even had the opportunity to share the stage with the incredible Beartooth on tour. If you haven’t checked out Beartooth yet, you definitely should—they’re fantastic! This band brings a perfect blend of melodic riffs, raw screams, and clean vocals, resulting in an amazing sound. And let me tell you, there’s no room for filler in their music. After listening to their two albums, I think its apt to take words from Sum41 a band they look up to it’s all killer, no filler.
Who do they sound like?
Beartooth, Sum41 & Wage War
Latest Album
Latest album from 2022 Upright Animals is a somewhat different beast to debut album The world is in your way due to being heavier but both are excellent.

Albums Of The Year 2025 – 7 – Spiritbox – Tsunami Sea
The Canadian band Spiritbox has made a significant impact in the rock scene with their second album, blending Metalcore and Djent. Their sound features powerful riffs and emotionally charged lyrics, highlighted by LaPlante’s dynamic vocals. Standout tracks include “Soft Spine” and “Perfect Soul,” showcasing both energy and haunting melodies.
