I’ve recently been tweaking how my site looks with new sections and a completely new theme. I would really like it if you could let me know in the comments section what you think to it, if there is something you would change etc.
Breakdown of the Home Page
Header – This has my site logo & name , as well as the following page links;
- About – Everything you need to know about Fox Reviews Rock.
- The Team – Details about the people behind Fox Reviews Rock, including a member nobody has been introduced to yet!
- Spotify Playlist – Information about the Fox Reviews Rock playlist , with an inbuilt previewer and links to view in on Spotify.
- Podcast – Inbuilt podcast player for the Fox Reviews Rock podcast. You can either listen to the latest on that page, or click to listen to it on Spotify.
- Popular Posts – A place to go and view the most popular reviews on the site.
Featured Posts – This is three of the Fox Reviews Rock teams favourite reviews so check them out!
Subscribe to Fox Reviews Rock – This is a form for you to input your email address if you are not already subscribed (If you are reading this and you are not already subscribed please do so it means so much to us!).
Latest Posts – This is the section of the site which allows you to view all the latest daily posts from the team behind Fox Reviews Rock. These posts currently consist of the following;
- Monday – Cozzer’s Question , a fun interactive question from the websites editor.
- Tuesday – Up-And-Coming Bands, a look at bands with under 500,000 Spotify subscribers.
- Wednesday – Fox Reviews Rock Review , A review of either a song or an album.
- Thursday – Women That Rock , A review and breakdown of the women in rock and metal.
- Friday – Poll, A rock and metal related poll to see how your opinion matches up with others.
- Saturday – Battle of the Bands , Two bands but only one can come out on top , make sure to comment and vote for your favourite!
- Sunday – Podcast , A highlight of one of the latest podcast episodes.
- Additional Posts – Lucky Lukes Heavy Sundays, An occasional guest post running the rule of song and bands which are heavier.
Post Carousel – An automatic scrolling feature at the bottom of the site , it displayed all the reviews that have been done on Fox Reviews Rock.
Sidebar – The sidebar contains the following;
- Site Logo – Another view of the beautiful image chosen for Fox Reviews Rock.
- Breakdown of what you can look forward to.
- Social Media – Links to all your favourite social media platforms so you can follow Fox Reviews Rock elsewhere. This contains X, Tumblr, Spotify, Pinterest, Mastodon & Facebook.
- Podcast Player – A simple and quick way to listen to the podcast just click play!
- Popular Posts- A selection of popular reviews to select and enjoy.
- Playlist – A preview of the Fox Reviews Rock playlist , with a button to view on Spotify.
Footer – Contains the following;
- Site Logo – See above for details.
