New Post Type – Songs That Shaped Me

I’m here to announce a new post type that will be every two weeks on a Thursday – Songs That Shaped Me. Alternating weekly with Women That Rock (Don’t worry that’s not going anywhere) I hope to highlight some of my favourite songs and why I enjoy them so much.

My hope is that people get to know me (Fox Reviews Rock) a little better and we might even get some guest weeks with Cozzer and Lucky Luke going too! We are all shaped by what we listen to so I would love it if you would comment on this post and the post every 2 weeks what your favourite song is , or one of your favourites.

I’m pretty excited about this so I hope you will be too!

I am 82 years old. Pot head. Rock fan. I have not liked heavy metal. You are changing that. I really liked Måneskin – Honey (Are U Coming? and others. I’m learning and I appreciate that. Thanks.

This sounds good… maybe I should do something like this, although many of the songs that have shaped me I’ve already used.

    If I do, I’d probably make it a limited time series. And I’m sure my four or five followers or so on my music blog wouldn’t mind if I occasionally repeated a song; I’ve done it exactly once in two and a half years, and no one really cared.
    
    I did have one post about a song that really meant something to me, but instead of writing it all out, I wrote it in one of my other blogs and linked the music blog post to it. That was noteworthy because the song had just been released the day before, and it took exactly one listen through for the song to really hit me and become one of my all time favorites.
