What is your favourite Rock or Metal guitar riff of all time?

I’ll go first. My favourite Riff of all time is the Intro to “Master of Puppets” by Metallica. That riff never fails to get me hyped up and ready to rock.

    That would be my pick too. I get an adrenaline rush whenever I listen to it, which is very often 😁.

    The riff from ‘Layla’ – still sounding fantastic over half a century after the song was recorded. Also, the riff from Alice Cooper’s ‘School’s Out’ – simple but effective.

    The lead guitar riff that comes screaming in right around the 2:53 minute mark of “Albatross” by Corrosion of Conformity. Right after Pepper Keenan (I believe) sings, “With the trusting love, from your God above,” and laughs. Makes me want to pick up my old beat up axe and start jamming every time.
