To cut a long story short , Jack White helped to make the Von Bondies as popular as they were. White and the lead singer of the Von Bondies then got into an alleged fight in a nightclub with the latter getting badly bruised (White denied the fight). White then left a letter with a knife in it on Stollsteimer’s door.
