The next instalment in our weekly Spotify Playlist “Song Of The Week” this time we are joined by Radio Aftermath with their song “Grey Shapes”.
Song Explanation
This song is about nightmares, but not your standard Freddy Krueger nightmares. These nightmares plagued our guitarist as a child as incomprehensibly large grey isometric shapes filled up his vision, and filled him up with a powerful sense of dread. Like a bad trip with all the fun bits taken out. Waking up in a cold sweat, absolutely terrified over… Grey Shapes.
Recorded anywhere and everywhere in Yorkshire (although mostly at Pirate Studios Leeds and the Loft in Sheffield), “Grey Shapes” is a dreamy rock banger that always goes down explosively when we play it live. Hope you guys dig it!
