A Day To Remember – I’m Made Of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?
I’ve gone back into the vault this week. Specifically for a track that makes me laugh purely from the title alone. Way back in 2009 A Day To Remember dropped their album Homesick, this was my favourite on the album.
This is an absolute anthem. With its catchy chorus and upbeat tempo throughout this is great. Simply great. I also love the cough later in the song before an onslaught of heavier vocals. Check it out!

RØRY – Help Your Friends Get Sober
After newly discovering RØRY at Download Festival earlier this year, her music has definitely made it’s way onto my playlist! We even went to see her yesterday in Bristol!
Not only do I find her music great to listen to, it’s also something I can relate to. My song of the week is a song I wish existed 15 years ago when I needed it, however I hope it helps someone who needs it now!
St Jimmy
The Cure – Alone
I love The Cure and this is their first song in 16 years! Firstly this song is 6:48 long but the lyrics don’t start until 3:22, I find this quite annoying as the intro drags, but once Robert Smith finally sings, I start to enjoy the song.
This is the first track of their new album Songs Of A Lost World which will be released on 1st November and I’m hoping for shorter songs.
Cozzer
Ghost – Cirice.
I love how the intro eases you into the killer riff. The song just has an awesome atmosphere to it.
Lucky Luke
HELLYEAH – Hush.
I particularly enjoy the chorus in this song. What’s brilliant about it is that it’s not an overly busy song. Meaning every single lyric can take effect!
If you haven’t heard of HELLYEAH before they are a supergroup formed from members taken from some huge bands!
