Fox

Rain City Drive – Wish You The Best.

I really enjoy the vocal delivery throughout this track. With varying tones and tempo its a constant intrigue for the brain and ears! The lyrics are really damn catchy and that chorus is killer!

Rain City Drive – Wish You The Best (All Rights Retained By Rain City Drive)

Rex

The Spill Canvas – Wolves.

I used to love this band when I was younger, and as life went on I completely forgot about them! But one of thier songs from my childhood came on my playlist, which prompted me to check them out again, and I am glad I did! This song is their newest single and I love it!!

Wolves – The Spill Canvas (All Rights Retained By The Spill Canvas)

St Jimmy

As December Falls – Ride.

I saw these live for the first time last week without knowing who they were. They opened the set with this song and I’m now a big fan of theirs and can’t wait to see them again in March.

As December Falls – Ride (All Rights Retained By As December Falls)

Cozzer

Trivium – Kirisute Gomen.

I love the acoustic intro and how it smoothly transitions into the rest of the song. I also love how catchy the chorus is.

Trivium – Kirisute Gomen (All Rights Retained By Trivium)

Lucky Luke

Orbit Culture – Orbit.

I really dig the machine gun sound from the guitar on this song!

Orbit Culture – Saw (All Rights Retained By Orbit Culture)

I’ll have to give those a gander.

Have you ever listened to Kælan Mikla? Postpunk darkwave from Iceland. Check out “Sólstöður” if you’re looking for something a little different. The video is visually stunning, if nothing else.

They remind me a bit of JJ Lovegrove, she’s also dark wave, gothic and interesting!

I love the Trivium one. That’s the hardest one. I’m not into the others though. I’m into darkwave though, so I will probably check out JJ Lovegrove that Rex put up. 🙂

You should listen to Polygraph, Right Now! His vocals are much more pronounced in their older stuff!

All musicians I haven’t experienced before and all good in their own different ways. Trivium does it for me though, so Cozzer wins! 🙂
