Spooky Halloween Songs and Rock Icons In Horror Films 18/10/24

For every day in the month leading up to Halloween we will be posting a spooky themed song. On top of this, we will also be giving you a little rock-themed Halloween treat. We will be discussing rock musicians who appeared in horror films.

So grab that jack-o’-lantern, fill it with sweets and listen to our spooky song (If you dare)!

This time it’s Muse with Kill Or Be Killed and Ozzy Osbourne/ Gene Simmons in Trick Or Treat (1986).

Song

Muse – Kill Or Be Killed (All Rights Retained By Muse)

Film

Ozzy Osbourne/ Gene Simmons in Trick Or Treat (1986)

Ozzy plays a vicar in this film, while gene plays a radio DJ. Simmons was initially offered a bigger role. He was to play a rock star who burned to death. The rock star continues to communicate with one of his biggest fans. The soundtrack for the film was done by Fastway band members Eddie Clark (Also of Motorhead) and Dave King.

The rights to the song in this post belong to the recording artist in question. This website claims no right over it.

    I much prefer this:

And there isn’t a single person alive today better suited to a horror movie than Ozzy ❤

I have to admit to two things:

          A) Liking Twilight (where I first heard it – baseball scene)

          and

          B) being an idiot for A. lol I fell for R-Patz. =p

There is nothing wrong with twilight there I’ve said it ! 🤣 what helped me was the song paramore did for the soundtrack ( I have a huge crush on hayley Williams)

I’d much rather have Robert than Edward though… sexy English accent and all? Yum!!

Rather faint sound, I had to turn it to maximum. What I heard was okay, but not a favourite.

I didn’t know the song (it was okay, but not a keeper for me), or the movie, but I am intrigued by the idea of Ozzy playing a preacher!.😀 Must look for that one online. Thanks for the introduction and Happy Halloween!
