Fox
Atreyu – Ex’s And Oh’s.
I love the drive the first section of the song has with that amazing riff and thumping drums. The chorus is a yell at the top of your lungs anthem!
Rex
Good Charlotte – Last December.
This week I have struggled to be able to listen to any songs in full, none of them seem to hit the right spot and I’ve spent hours skipping song after song trying to find that one song that doesn’t overstimulate me.
I then decided to think of bands I find comfort in, and at the top of that list is Good Charlotte! So my song of the week, is the only song I’ve listened to in its entirety this week.
St Jimmy
Beasto Blanco – Breakdown.
Rex and I went to see Alice Cooper recently, whilst waiting for him to come on after watching Primal Scream, this song played in the background, we enjoyed it so much we had to Shazam it to find out what it was. We learnt that this band was created by the Alice cooper bassist Chuck Garric and includes Alice Cooper’s daughter on vocals, Calico Cooper.
Look out for the Alice Cooper concert review on Halloween 🎃.
Cozzer
Thy Art Is Murder – Godlike.
Right from the get go, this song slams you in the face and chest and gets its point across.
Lucky Luke
Suicide Silence – Disengage.
That melodic guitar riff you hear throughout the song slaps.
