Song Of The Week – Echostream – Paralyse

Note From Fox

I liked this song so much that I even provided the band with a quote to use on their Spotify profile!

“Melodic alt-metal tunes, with crashing drums and riffs galore! Paralyse is one of the best opening singles we have heard for a very long time” – Fox Reviews Rock

Song Background

The song is about the internal battles that one can have and how they can ultimately create a sense of paralysis.

Integrating concepts like syncopated rhythms, descending time signatures and flamenco elements to create a song that plays with contrast and tries to paint the emotions of aggression and panic.

Recorded in Soundlab Studios with Matt Williams, we really wanted a sound that acted as a bridge to the 00’s metal and hard rock with more modern elements and sounds.

I heard the song and I agree with the internal battles stuff. I mean the music really expresses what they want to say. Can you comment on Nirvana’s All Apologies?

Nirvana wise , that song is not one of my favourites , but its a solid enough option. probably middle of the road.

I have heard this. This really seems like something that Reminds me of The One by Metallica

Paralyse by Ecostream had the themes of anxiety and feeling trapped and not able to move, which also describes the tone of The One by Metallica, where the person has lost much of itself and left with nothing on its body, although it is more about the effects of war while Paralyse is more about the anxiety

I am really disappointed that most music today are not about any moral. If found, then they are a rarity
