Well, between Alice In Chains/Goo Goo Dolls and Bon Jovi/Van Halen, it must have been kind of a musically transitional year–for the somewhat better. (Sorry–I couldn’t stand V.H., to the point where, just to annoy me when he was a teenager, my son once played “Panama” on a boombox-type thing outside the bathroom door so that I was trapped in there listening to it. Utterly traumatic–and that’s probably the V.H. song I dislike the least! 🙂 .)

I was never into Bon Jovi, either, but he’s a NJ boy, and he does some wonderful things for people who may be homeless, etc., so I’m a fan of his for that.

I think I must have been very preoccupied with other stuff whenever it was, but I’ll guess something like 1989.

This one’s easy 1989, went into rehab that year and Bon Jovi was all over the air.
