        It is, indeed. I still remember buying their CD album 21st Century Breakdown back in 2009! I was playing 21 Guns on repeat on my Walkman haha this should tell you how old I am lool

    I don’t like to compare bands as “better” but I will say that I think Green Day is more important to music in general than Paramore. That being said, Paramore were super important to me during my formative years, so I’d personally choose them over GD

      A its only a bit of fun 🙂 Paramore have a more emo edge to them than say greenday but i think they both contribute to the music we see coming through 🙂

    Unfortunately I am not familiar with Paramore, so I cannot make an educated choice. However I have been a Green Day fan since Dookie came out. As @writinstuff said, Green Day all day!

    I like both songs a lot! Good Riddance is one of those great “touch my heart” songs, but I really love the edge to Misery Business. Paramore gets my vote!

    Great posts as always. I got to go with Green Day on this. I grew up listening to their music and it has always held a precious place in my heart. I do like Paramore but their style of music is not for me. Green Day without a doubt. I don’t listen to their music anymore but I still appreciate the band for shaping my childhood.

    I like them both, but since I own all of Paramore’s albums and only one of Green Day’s, I pretty clearly prefer Paramore. (I tend to favor the ladies’ voices anyway, as evidenced by at lease eight of my ten favorite bands being fronted by women.)

        Ha, yeah, I went through a phase where I was also buying soundtracks and stuff just to get Paramore and/or Hayley Williams songs like “Decode” or “Teenagers”. Then those soundtracks introduced me to yet more artists like Little Boots or Florence + The Machine, which cost me even more money lol
