It’s the time of the week that we highlight one of our favorite new releases. This time its Candles by Lunison. Read a little about the song in the band’s own words. Then, listen to it once or fifty times!
Song Background Information
From Lunison’s Press Kit – “On an uncomfortably hot day in the midst of a sweltering summer heat wave , Matt Vantine took out his old 12-string guitar and strummed up some creative magic in the form of Lunison’s latest single Candles”.
“Anticipating autumn’s arrival and the sights & sounds that arrive with the season’s shift, Vantine started writing lyrics reflecting where he is in life”
“Having left his hometown and gotten sober from drugs and alcohol 4 years prior, the themes of candles reflect coming to terms with the world around him in the absense of a chemical bugger and the dismantling of old beliefs about life, love , god and superstition.”
Matt Vantine – Vocals & Guitar
Greg Antonelli – Bass
