Song Background Information

Palejoy – I Bet Heaven Isn’t Real At All (All Rights Are Retained By Palejoy)

Packed with raw emotion, the track is a personal one to guitarist and vocalist Dale. Written about the impact he felt following the passing of his Grandfather, it unpacks themes of sadness, anger and self loathing throughout.
“He was such an important figure in my life so it was just natural for me to write a song about him and how I felt losing someone so close to me. It’s been a really cathartic process and I like to think the song can resonate with people and give them comfort in dealing with grief.”

Recorded by Ewan Simpson, and mixed and mastered by Mark Morrow, I Bet Heaven Isn’t Real At All is out now across all major streaming platforms.

To me, it sounds like when you are like doing things in reverse… idk. But that is cool.
