I VOTED!
Oof 🙌🏻 !
Definitely … 🥁 drumroll 🥁
“Gold Lion”
Now the why … 🙋♀️
It hits like DIVINE FEMININE FURY – in combat boots and glitter eyeliner – it sounds raw, primal … electric even! Gives me “Mars energy” dressed in “Venus Glam” Or maybe 🤔… Saturn on a road trip with Lilith – I’m babbling now 🤷♀️
It’s my first time hearing the band, but it feels like a perfect soundtrack for waking up the “wilder parts” of yourself … the ones that refuse to be domesticated!
Nope 👎 but thank you, I shall look 👀 now!
I ended up on WordPress quite accidentally and am still learning my way around – my own space – your blog has not only gained my “fandom” for its content – but also an A++++ for showing me around YOUR space … namaste 🙏
Maps, They’ve always flown under the radar 🖤. You should interview Jacob Lee, he used to be in metal bands and works directly with Ten of Swords Media Collective’s Colin Jeffs who works with a ton of Australian rock and metal bands. Colin would be another awesome interview… Just throwing ideas out there.
LOL, if you actually want to contact them, they’re approachable. I have contact info if you want it. Jacob has a lot of new stuff coming out soon and is 100% independent. Any help just getting his name out there is a huge help.
Thanks , yeah I’m actually incredibly busy currently as I have 3 festivals to do things for as well as countless reviews and at least 24 interviews already in the pipeline 😁 I have however saved your email and appreciate it more than you know
I tried to get into the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Seemed like an easy fit for the music I was listening to at the time but I couldn’t make it work. Of these four choices, I’ll go with “Heads Will Roll”.
It was the first song of theirs I ever heard and I’ve loved them ever since so it feels quintessentially Yeah Yeah Yeahs for me. I voted for Gold Lion! Might have share it on my blog soon 🙂
Before streaming, I used to be the AV purchaser for a local library – purchased YYY based on Q review. Gold Lion nails a sound that one doesn’t hear everyday.
