Was never a fan of Nirvana or the grunge scene but a buddy of mine did an acoustic version of Come As You Are with a bandmate of his. It was super cool .If you’re interested, look for Dirty Crime CAYA cover on the YouTubes. haven’t talked to the singer in 5 or 6 years now. I should try to connect.
I wish I could say a different song, since this one is admittedly overplayed. Smells Like Teen Spirit is the one that puts me back in the mosh pit, however.
Of these, it’s a tossup between Come As You Are & Heart Shaped Box, love the music & the lyrics but I’d have to say You Know You’re Right is one of my favorites.
All apologies, Kurt Cobain, 1993 was way too long ago, I was just 14 when Heart Shaped Box hit the scene. And yes, I intend the nod to their other amazing song! 🤘
“You Know You’re Right.” A close second would be “The Man Who Sold the World.” My honorable is “In Bloom;” it’s a good song with one of the best opening lines: Sell the kids for food.
I don’t know how to vote in the poll but Teen Spirit is my favorite song by Nirvana. The song really caught me off guard completely when I first heard it. If rollercoasters played this song, they would be less scary.
