If You Could Bring Back A Band Or Artist For One Last Tour, Who Would It Be?

There really is so many here that I found this really difficult to answer. I have settled on one though , but I would love to hear your own thoughts in the comments section at the end of this post.

Jimi Hendrix – All Along The Watchtower (All Rights Are Retained By Jimi Hendrix)

I am going with the guitar wizard that was Jimi Hendrix! I am not even ashamed to admit that I did not know the above song was originally by Bob Dylan… Honestly even now that I do know for me it is now firmly Jimi’s song, he made that song come alive!

Jimi Hendrix – Purple Haze (All Rights Are Retained By Jimi Hendrix)

There is just something about his style of playing the guitar that mesmerised my senses, very few guitarists get even remotely close to it these days. Although a very good guitarist you need to check out is AfroDiziac! Seriously if you love Hendrix check that dude out…

Jimi Hendrix – Little Wing (All Rights Are Retained By Jimi Hendrix)

That is not to say that he wasn’t a tremendous singer to because I really adore his tone! Looking back at old videos though unfortunately just does not cut it, I want to be front and centre in a field in the middle on nowhere and let my senses and body move to the music.

Jimi Hendrix – Foxey Lady (All Rights Are Retained By Jimi Hendrix)

Also how could I not love a guy who wrote a song called Foxey Lady! Let us know your answer in the comments section!

Hendrix was great, but I would love to have heard Janis Joplin live! Monterrey Festival 1967! I was a wee lad of 6. Wouldn’t go to my first concert until 1074. And I once I started I couldn’t stop. I was addicted to live music. My first concerts: Three Dog Night, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and, yes, Kiss. Them were the days! Sorry for running at the mouth, or keyboard.

I was only able to see him once, for 1987’s Glass Spider tour. The added bonus was seeing Frampton, as well. My ultimate choice would have been Isolar II. I guess I’d better get that time machine fired up….

Am I going to have to put the time machine on loan for a bit so we can travel through time and space for rock shows. If so im cool with it.

There are so many – it’s impossible to choose – Carol King, Joan Baez, David Bowie, the Moody Blues, There were so many good musicians, singer songwriters and – also – great thinkers – it was an age of brilliance!

Oh, so many bands I’d love to see or to see again. I’d probably choose David Bowie, though. I saw him on his Sound + Vision tour with Adrian Belew on guitar and it was an amazing show. I’d love to experience that again.

Sometimes, an artist/band comes along and covers someone else’s song and just… does it better. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Disturbed – Sound of Silence? Deep in the feels.

Sid was fucked up, but punk just would be punk with out his wildness and spitting into the audience. But tbh I love Johnny Rotten. I love the way he performs. The Sex Pistols are epic.

I have to admit I really dont like Sid , just a bit pointless but my own opinion obviously. JR was always better and GM a better bassist.

For me, his music, style, and stage presence is in a class of its own. He’s inspired many and few have come close, but no one compares to his level of artistry. Even from the grave, he’s had new songs produced and he’s had features that are just that great.
