If You Could Interview Any Rockstar Who Would It Be And What Would You Ask Them?

I would love to interview Adam Gontier of the bands Three Days Grace and Saint Asonia. Some may not have heard of him, but I am intrigued who would you want to interview? Let us know in the comments!

Three Days Grace – I Hate Everything About You (All Rights Are Retained By Three Days Grace)

The question I would ask him is as follows.

“Your music has a really therapeutic effect on the listeners. I should know I am one of those people. But do you find writing and performing these songs has a similar effect for you?”

Saint Asonia – Let Me Live My Life (All Rights Are Retained By Saint Asonia)

I want to know that because a lot of the songs are deeply personal, and that is the main reason why I connect in such a strong way to them. It is that association with the words, the feelings that help me deal with whatever might be going on in my life.

Saint Asonia – Better Place (All Rights Are Retained By Saint Asonia)

But I would hate for that relief in my own life to be painful for the person behind those words. So yes I am more than intrigued.

Three Days Grace – Pain (All Rights Are Retained By Three Days Grace)

Let us know in the comments who you would want to interview and what question you would ask!

If we’re talking dead ones also. It would be Captain Beefheart. I would ask him questions that I know he couldn’t answer. How do you get the idea for your lyrics? I what is your thought process for when you paint?
If he wasn’t giving some wise ass answer, he would probably say, “It just comes to me.”

It would be Freddie Mercury and I would ask how he got his inspiration for the songs he wrote and how he knew it would all work when he put the songs together. I mean it just fathoms the mind when you think of songs like Bohemian Rhapsody.

I would ask Jim Morrison how he knew (how he discovered) that he was the Lizard King and Mojo Rising…

Adam has lived an interesting life. It would be a good interview. It’s so hard now because some have pod casts like Billy Corgan. Um I would love to have a chat with the guys from Shinedown and discuss their music from Leave a Whisper to their newest album.

I would like to interview Chuck Berry, and ask him how he wrote word-perfect songs like ‘Johny B. Goode’ and ‘C’est la Vie’.

Honestly, I’d love to interview a lot of different artists (not just rock) about their song writing processes, inspiration, philosophies, internal drive, formal/informal training, advice for novice musicians, and their own creative struggles within their creative processes.

Ha! The first fifty or so questions would be about some of my favorite song lyrics! I always want to know! As a teenager I loved that show Storytellers (vH1) where they would talk about inspiration for the songs before they played them live…okay maybe I was obsessed with it.

It’d have to be Ronnie radke or maybe Chester Bennington and ask them how they come up with their music video ideas and their album names for Chester mostly because Linkin park had some different names for their albums ,minutes to midnight ,hybrid theory, meteora……not to mention their song names at times they are unique. I’d ask Chester what he thought his band should do if they didn’t have the luxury and talent they found in him around. I’d ask him if he ever imagined a woman taking the spotlight ,and ask him if he likes the bands sound now or if he had anything to say that he left unsaid ,since the rest of the signs went unread. R.i.p Chester.

As for Ronnie I wanna know his life motto, his outlook on love and life in general. I wanna ask him to take me behind scenes on their making of a music video cuz it’s gotta be epic.
