Song Of The Week – Saturna – A Few Words To Say

It’s the time of the week that we highlight one of our favourite new releases. This time its A Few Words To Say by Saturna. Read a little about the song in the band’s own words. Then, listen to it once or fifty times!

Song Background Information

Saturna – A Few Words To Say (All Rights Are Retained By Saturna)

The song came from a lyric and music idea made by Alexandre Sánchez, guitar player who is no longer in the band but was a part of Saturna for 4 years, and also co wrote and recorded “The Reset” with us.

We took that idea and produced it together resulting in the track a Few Words to Say.

Lyrically is clearly about a past relationship that still echoes in the mind of the writer, knowing that’s not convenient at all to the person’s life but recognising at the same time the attachment that’s still there.

It’s the first song on any Saturna album that has this kind of 6/8 beat and the vocal melodies and interpretation are slightly inspired by DIO to add that epic touch to the track.

The band are returning for a US Tour with Phantom Hound in January 2026, with the tour ending at John Gists’s Fest in Vegas!
