Song Of The Week – The Twin Souls- Schyzo

It’s the time of the week that we highlight one of our favourite new releases. This time its Schyzo by The Twin Souls. Read a little about the song in the band’s own words. Then, listen to it once or fifty times!

Song Background Information

The Twin Souls – Schyzo (All Rights Are Retained By The Twin Souls)

The first single from Twin Souls’ debut album, a resounding return to rock. Screeching guitar sounds, burning drums, and a raspy voice on the verge of breaking down—they’re all about neurosis and addiction, all presented in a bipolar, raw and effective rock composition.

The album has been recorded at Studio Berduquet in Bordeaux, France. We made the production by ourselves with our sound engineer Christophe Calastreng. Then we went to Brussels, Belgium to mix the record with Charles De Schutter at the Rec N Roll Studio.

Our debut album calls ‘Highs & Lows” will be released on November 14th 2025. On Smoky Sun Records (auto-production).

A bit out there for me, with the ‘minor twist’ in key, if that makes any sense. Just me, though. 🙂

Yeah it won’t be to everyone’s taste for sure but others will love it too. A bit of an interesting one 🙂
