The spiritual home of rock and metal Donington Park will host Download Festival for its 23rd edition in 2026. It promises to be bigger, louder and more electrifying than ever. From 10th – 14th of June attendees will be treated to an all star line up including Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses and Linkin Park. All of which are UK exclusives for the rock festival in the UK for 2026.

Three Unmissable Download 2026 Headliners

Limp Bizkit

For the first time over their 31 year career, Nu-Metal icons Limp Bizkit will headline Download Festival. After a set at Download Festival 2024 that lit up the Donington Park crowd, Fred Durst and his crew return! Set to be an explosive performance they will bring it with anthems like “Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)”, “Break Stuff” and “My Generation”. You can expect chaos, nostalgia and hilarious moments as the band claim their rightful headlining spot!

Guns N’ Roses

Guns N’ Roses the ultimate hard rock legends return to Download Festival for the first time since 2018. This performance will also mark 20 years since they first headlined the festival in 2006. With a legacy that includes the diamond-certified album “Appetite For Destruction” and the 7x platinum albums “Use Your Illusion I & II”. Their headline set will be a true spectacle for the legendary band.

Their music has influences generations of rockers whether that be with mammoth hit “Sweet Child O’ Mine” or “Welcome To The Jungle”. Their monstrous 24 million monthly listeners on Spotify shows that the demand for the band lives on! Join Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Isaac Carpenter and Melissa Reese for one hell of a good time.

Linkin Park

Closing the main stage at Download Festival 2026 in unforgettable style will be Linkin Park. They will be returning to headline since the passing of Chester Bennington and reformation in 2024 with Emily Armstrong. Alongside Mike Shinoda the performance promises to be a deeply entertaining and emotional finale for DLXXIII. This marks another chapter in their extraordinary legacy.
