It’s the time of the week that we highlight one of our favourite new releases. This time its She Likes To Dance by The Bloodshots. Read a little about the song in the band’s own words. Then, listen to it once or fifty times!

Song Background Information

This single came about from a joky kind of guitar riff that I (frontman CJ Loane) used to twinkle around at jams for years and we decided to turn it into a fun song. In the vein of the “quiet loud quiet loud” song structure made famous by acts like Pixes and Nirvana, the single has become our highest streamed song and is now a crowd favourite!

Lyrically it delves into the back and forth and sometimes clashing of relationships & love in general. Sometimes you and your partner don’t see eye to eye on everything but that doesn’t mean it can’t work at the end of the day! Or maybe it does haha. It’s open to interpretation.
