    As a Brit, England gave it away but I was pretty sure before that due to The Beatles and Cream clue. 1966.

    Im old enough to remember that World Cup win. It was also the 1st year that the GT40 beat Ferrari at Le Mans.

    Cream released Down To The Crossroads, a track that Clapton didn’t like.

    I don’t recall Blue Cheer, or Iron Butterfly so must do some research.

    Oh by the way, my guess is 1966.

    This one I was all over! The Beatles single was the same year as Revolver. Revolver was the year before Sgt Pepper and the Summer of Love. AND I watched both shows, which were the year ABC (Batman) and M:I (CBS) exclusively broadcast in color. 9961. Ooops I had it upside down – 1966.
