Fox’s Recommendations

While this song might on the surface feel aggressive it’s deeply relatable if you look into the lyrics. It has a massive hook which balances the accessibility of Slipknot with their pure unheld back aggression. The gateway song for sure.

You want some early slipknot? Well even if you don’t I’m giving it to you! With its frantic energy and strange vocal framing. It contains a punky chaos that only helps that catchy chorus stick so well.

Fox’s Wildcard

This is truly something special in the Slipknot catalogue, a stripped back song with emotional vulnerability on the surface. Taylor’s vocals are hauntingly beautiful and much more akin to his time in Stone Sour. The slow build up generates this massive payoff. Lyrically this is so raw and about Taylor’s divorce. This is rarely performed live because of that.
