How did you come up with the bands name?
I thought of Jane after my dog. When I first started the band we would practice in my apartment and Jane would sleep next to us while we practiced.

What is your latest release?
Holding pictures is a single that represents nostalgia. Coming to peace with the idea that pictures from the past are always going to be memories. As humans we feel for the past as some days we wish we could go back in time but that is not feasible so we Hold pictures to take us back to those times.

What is the song you’re most proud of as a band?
I am the most proud of Holding Pictures because during the summer of 2025 Jane was on a definite hiatus as we were looking for a new bass player and drummer. We really thought Jane was finished but behold our new and current bassist (Jay) and drummer (Max) came along and we worked real hard to get Holding Pictures out to the world.
When can we expect some new music?
We are set to release two new singles in March of 2026 and a full length EP in April in 2026.
Who would be your dream collaboration?
Our dream collaboration at the moment is to make a collaborative album with bands from Austin, TX to show what the scene is like here. From all types of genres from shoegaze, alternative, punk, psychedelic, and emo.

What is the bands goal for the next 12 months?
Our goal for the next 12 months is to release our EP and singles and become an official SXSW artist and possibly tour the east coast as well. Also gain over 1000 monthly listeners on spotify.
What is your message to new listeners?
A lot of hard work has been put into getting us to the spot we are today. As well if you like Title Fight, Deftones, My bloody Valentine, Sunny Day Real Estate, Grunge and alternative music we have something for you.
