Sepultura! Theyre way more interesting. Marilyn Manson always annoyed me. I just felt he was trying way too hard to be ” shocking “. I can kinda appreciate the theatrics to a point, but personally I feel that the music should be able to match the image/ presentation….and IMO it just doesn’t. I dunno, White Zombie annoyed me for similar reasons….all image and theatre, but quite unremarkable music. I’ll make some enemies here, but I never got into KISS for similar reasons, eg. They looked scary and weird, but their music – although not terrible- was quite tame. I’ve never personally understood the hype, but hey, that’s just my opinion; each to their own *shrug* .

*quickly dons armour in anticipation of indignant fans of aforementioned bands*

    By “did it better”, do you mean an example of bands that sound the way they look? I’ll assume that’s what you mean, and will give my favourite examples: Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, and Mr.Bungle! Crazy looks; Crazy music to back it up 😀
