After WAY too long away, Joan Jett And The Blackhearts are finally heading back over to the UK this July. Their first headline tour this side of the pond in 16 years.
The run kicks off in Glasgow on July 2nd, moves onto Manchester, Leeds and Wolverhampton before ending in London on July 8th. To make things even better they are bringing UK punk duo (And friends of the site) The Meffs along for the ride!
You can expect all the classics Like I Love Rock N’ Roll, Bad Reputation and I Hate Myself For Loving You. Add to that the kind of no-nonsense energy that’s kept Joan Jett at the top of the game for decades! It’s going to be one hell of a tour.
Jett herself said she’s buzzing to be back, especially with the UK playing a part in her early solo career — and honestly, it’s about time.
Joan Jett says: “We can’t wait to be back on stage in the UK this Summer! I wrote and recorded “Bad Reputation”, my first solo LP in London. It’s been too long since we’ve been in the UK and we’re excited to see everyone!”
Tickets go on sale Friday 24 April at 10am.
If you’ve never seen them live, this is one of those “fix that immediately” situations.
