Under The Radar – Night Thieves

Less than 1,000 monthly listeners. More than 1,000 reasons to listen.

How did you come up with the bands name?

A lot of back and forth between us, but we eventually decided on NIGHT THIEVES as we felt it accurately reflected our sound and the feel of our music.

Where are you from?

London.

What genre would you class your music as?

Alternative Metal

For Fans Of?

Bring Me the Horizon, Linkin Park, Incubus

Where can people connect with you?

What is your latest release?

Entering the next chapter of NIGHT THIEVES “Metaxis” is an extended ride for listeners to connect and experience in-between states. The songs express human nature as a dynamic force, navigating through emotions and experiences constantly in motion.

Inspired by Greek philosophy of existing between two worlds, it continues from the previous Polarity EP’s concept of duality and opposing forces.

Once again teaming up with Grammy nominated producer Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me the Horizon, Nova Twins, Funeral for a Friend), Night Thieves show their full range on this album, which contains their heaviest and most progressive songs to date.

The result is a bold, expansive statement that pushes the Night Thieves sound into thrilling new territory, setting the stage for a major leap forward.

What are the three songs you would recommend to new listeners?

Mycelia – This is the second single from Metaxis. It’s quite a unique track, opening with a stomping intro and into a fierce rhythmic verse with EDM, Linkin Park esq synth layers. It has a huge chorus and is completed with pit-ready breakdowns! The response to Mycelia has been amazing so we can’t wait for everyone to hear the album now!

See You On The Other Side (Feat. Jessie Powell) –  This is a beast of a track with lush ambient guitars, driving rhythms, elements of prog with airy clean vocals and a death metal scream or two by Jessie Powell from Dream State, who guests on the track. SYOTOS is about reaching breaking point when pressures and tension erupt. It was inspired by Mount Etna and naturally grew to fit the concept of the Metaxis album it’s part of.

Night Thieves – See You On The Otherside (All Rights Are Retained By Night Thieves)

Through the Looking Glass – This track appeared on our 2024 Polarity EP and this song was where we really found our sound, with huge riffs and a massively catchy chorus, this captures our sound in one track.

Night Thieves – Through The Looking Glass (All Rights Are Retained By Night Thieves)

What is the song you’re most proud of as a band?

This track is the third single off the new album and is a song for anyone who is feeling lost or like an outsider. It’s an emotional rock anthem that promises things will work out, reminding listeners that home is a feeling you create. It’s the type of track we haven’t really done before and the key themes of wanting to find a place you feel safe and at peace is something that really resonates with us as a band and we want to share with everyone.

Who would be your dream collaboration?

We would love to work with someone like Jordan Fish, who produced a lot of our favourite tracks from bands like Bring me the Horizon, Architects, and Spiritbox. We would love to hear what a collaboration with him would sound like.

Where can people next catch one of your shows?

July 5th – SOS Festival – Oldham
July 24th – Northants Rocks Festival – Finedon
July 26th – Hammerdown Festival – Worthing

What is the bands goal for the next 12 months?

To bring Metaxis to a bigger audience and continue growing our following.

What is your message to new listeners?

We can’t wait to share the new album with everyone, but also we love meeting new fans at shows, so come down and say hi.
