We have hand selected our song of the week! Hope you enjoy it. The band have described the song in their own words as well as given us an update about what is coming up for them.
Song Background Information
I had a best friend for over 30 years—we’d been best friends since kindergarten. Then, out of the blue, she just vanished from my life. She blocked me on every social media platform without ever telling me why she stopped talking to me. The last time we spoke, everything seemed completely fine.
At first, I was confused, then I was angry, and then, for a long time, I was deeply, deeply sad. I dreamed about her constantly. I kept wishing she would come back, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had done something wrong.
But when I found my bandmates and we became this tight-knit unity as Some Good Moments, I finally felt safe enough to write it all down—to really process that pain and let it go. It was the first song I’ve ever written that truly came to life with a band! I am so incredibly grateful for all of my bandmates and for their love and kindness.
”Ghosted” is the song that made us realize we don’t need to do cover songs anymore. It’s the kind of song that feels like a release, allowing us to let go of the past and start fresh.
