Mica: This week’s Indiestry Amplified Pick is TENDER YOUTH and their stunning song ‘Back And Forth’ which features on their latest album ‘Turning Torso’ that they released during September.
TENDER YOUTH are currently based in London but are originally from Copenhagen where they formed the band during 2018.
TENDER YOUTH describe their sound as ‘Art-Rock’ which is pretty apt after listening to their latest album. This weeks pick was an instant stand out track for me that grabbed my interest with its atmospheric violin intro.
I would be very surprised if they didn’t release this as the lead single, because it certainly delivers with its eclectic mix of classical violins and loud guitars that culminates nicely with a glorious chorus that literally punches the sky.
It’s wonderful, and I am very happy to include this musical work of art on this month’s ‘indiestry session’ – our new music podcast – which is out now!
If you enjoyed TENDER YOUTH you can catch them live on their final London date of the ‘Turning Torso’ release tour on November 6th at The Workshop in Shoreditch, London.
