What’s the best way to explore a new city?

So in my humble opinion you have not seen or experienced a city unless you have been to the dive bars. Tie this in with the small music venues and you not only get to enjoy surprisingly amazing music but also get to know the locals.
Making friends is the best way to explore a city, you get personal guides, cheaper food and in general an insight into the vibe of the place. So yes as usual I am linking my answer back to the music , and the thing we review over at foxreviewsrock.com!
