A-Z Of Rock: E Part 2

Welcome to our weekly alphabet themed rock post! In this post we will talk about a specific letter of the alphabet and associate it with all things rock music!

This will include a band with that letter, a song as well as a rocker. There is an accompanying playlist so that the selected songs can be enjoyed! Click the Spotify link below and remember to save it!

Band

There is nothing wrong with a bit of post-punk gloom and doom. Especially when it is framed in this way. Echo & The Bunnymen have a Door-esque feel to them with a psyche twang I think you will love.

Echo & The Bunnymen – The Killing Moon (All Rights Are Retained By Echo & The Bunnymen)

Song

So I first heard this song on the film School Of Rock. Where the schools principle is a massive fan! From that moment on so was I. I even used to have this on my gaming playlist, an honour that is hard to achieve. It’s also a great film btw so if you haven’t checked out the Jack Black classic please do!

Stevie Nicks – Edge Of Seventeen (All Rights Are Retained By Stevie Nicks)

Rocker

Elton Freakin John! The artist I wish I had bought a ticket to go and see before he called quits on his live performances. This was always my favourite for the attitude. Elton is a legend, and his biopic was incredible and a MUST WATCH!

Elton John – Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting) (All Rights Are Retained By Elton John)

Being an Elton John fan made me think you might be older but discovering Age of Seventeen through a soundtrack confused my theory 😄

Haha! I see the confusion entirely and it makes sense. I have a really odd love of music new and old but the classics are the classics 🙂

That is honestly the best kind of taste. You never know what will speak to your soul 🙂
