You have supported some MASSIVE acts on tours! What is the biggest lesson you have learned from these bands?

More is more… also that living a healthy lifestyle on tour is important for longevity. Not that we listened to that advice.

Your visual style blends classic Judas Priest with actual priest robes… If Battlesnake was tasked with creating a uniform for a space colony what are the key components?

It will be a nudist colony for we are immune to the effects of space, and so will our progeny be. But everyone must wear golden helmets.

Sticking with Judas Priest, you both played Bloodstock this year! What does it feel like to share a stage with such legends and what were your thoughtseel about playing the festival?

Honestly we can’t believe this dumb band is on the same bill as Priest. They’re one of our biggest influences so it’s very surreal.

Bloodstock has also  been a huge target for us for many years so it’s a strange feeling to be playing the main stage. Kind of like living a dream. A really long, horrible, smelly, tiring dream.

I would love to know what is something that most people love but would make you guys vomit?

Humans

You guys have quite the wall of guitarists on stage. If the band was trapped in a medieval siege, which guitarists’ pedalboard would serve as the most effective defensive weapon?

We don’t use pedal boards, we control the sound of our guitars with our minds. So we would use our minds as weapons via telekinesis.

What is the craziest thing you have seen someone do while crowd surfing at one of your shows?

Spontaneously combust

What song of yours do you think deserves more love than it gets?

What is a musical hill that you guys would die on , that most other people don’t think is all that serious?

Battlesnake feels less like a band and more like a living breathing fantasy universe. What do you view yourselves as first? Storytellers or musicians?

Neither, we are simply translators of ancient religious texts

What exactly does the Nightmare King look like?

If you were actually to kill Satan and had to replace him… How would you keep the demons in hell in line?

We wouldn’t.

When someone discovers you for the first time what do you hope they take away from your music?

Our religious propaganda.

If Netflix were to create a tv show about Battlesnake… Who would you want to play Golden God?

If you were to buy a pub as a band, what would you call it and how would you entice people in?

The pub is called Free Beer but the beer isn’t free and once people are inside we lock the doors and they have to spend all of their money if they want to escape.

You’ve released an album every year since 2023, can we expect that run to continue? (Please say yes!)

Yes… Probably… I don’t know… It looks likely…
