I’d love for you to share the best song you have heard this week. It can be rock, metal, or, quite frankly, any genre you like!
Just want to know what music you think others should give a listen to.
I’m currently really loving this new era of Nickelback. It’s the same melodic sound that made them popular with a real edge to it.
So yeah, what are you into currently?

Nice! The vinyl bit is really important to that album, sounds great!

I do like when music retains its roots

As I’ve been away with the kids I’m tempted to say ‘Fate of Ophelia ‘ by Tay-Tay (said to extinguish all remnants of cool from the phrase, as if I say it it must be dead), but – fortunately – I had to go to work today and the commute gave me Overpass and ‘Union Station’, which is – gonna kill another despicable phrase here – ‘a banger’
Haha a banger is a banger! I do not envy you having to commute though!

Oh, don’t worry about me – my commute is a twenty minute drive from village to village. I’d rather it was longer to get more tunes in! Do you know Overpass? Their album is a bit ‘which 90s Britpop band shall we steal from today?’ but sometimes they actually sound like themselves, as on Union Station. Also big on The Guest List at the moment; the ‘hit’ is Ruine (and is great) but the ep ‘When the Lights Go Out’ is excellent
Ah that’s alright then! 🙂
I do indeed know of Overpass but I need to give them a little more attention to be perfectly honest.

I have to do a little shameless self promotion – It’s not rock, but I hope you’ll check out my new song “There’s Still Pizza” : https://youtu.be/O_v4sV1dRas?si=p7nzFg6D9fXejz7S
Nice 🙂
